OUR STORY

Caplor Farm, in the picturesque village of Fowhope. Situated near the iron-age Capler Fort, in the beautiful Wye Valley Caplor Farm has been in the Williams’ family since 1923. It was first run by Gareth Williams’ grandfather, then by his father, mother and now by Gareth himself.

It was initially a 100-acre mixed farm evolving into a dairy farm. Eventually the herd was sold in 1998. However, from a small dairy farm, Caplor grew to become a significant agricultural business in Herefordshire, with operations spreading over some 15 units combined with a contracting operation stretching over a 50 mile radius.

The farm is also home to a number of other businesses, including a busy Livery run by Briony Sellar (Gareth’s partner), providing DIY & Retirement Equine services for around 35 horses and ponies and Caplor Property, which owns and manages properties on the farm, and in Hereford.
